Pricing & Quotes

1 How much does junk removal cost in Charlotte NC?

Junk Raider uses volume-based pricing, meaning your cost is determined by how much space your items take up in our truck — not by how many items you have or how heavy they are. There are no hidden fees, and your price is locked in before we begin. Here is our full price list:

  • 50 cubic feet: $150
  • 100 cubic feet: $218
  • 150 cubic feet: $297
  • 200 cubic feet: $402
  • 300 cubic feet: $586
  • 400 cubic feet: $756
  • 500 cubic feet: $910
  • 600 cubic feet: $1,030
  • 800 cubic feet: $1,330
  • 1,000 cubic feet: $1,650
  • 1,200 cubic feet: $1,890

Our truck holds up to 1,200 cubic feet — approximately three times the capacity of a standard competitor dump truck — so most jobs are completed in a single trip.

2 Does Junk Raider charge extra for heavy items like pianos or hot tubs?

Junk Raider does not charge per-item surcharges for most heavy items. Our pricing model is volume-based, so what matters is how much space your items occupy in the truck, not their weight alone. Some specialty items — such as pianos — may require additional labor time due to difficulty of access or disassembly, and we will disclose any such adjustments upfront before we begin the job. There are no hidden fees added after the fact. What we quote is what you pay.

3 Is there a minimum charge?

Yes. Junk Raider's minimum service charge starts at $150, which corresponds to approximately 50 cubic feet of junk. This covers small loads such as a single appliance, a few pieces of furniture, or a modest pile of debris. Even if your load is smaller than 50 cubic feet, the minimum rate applies to cover the cost of dispatching a crew and truck to your location.

4 Do you give free estimates?

Yes — Junk Raider provides free on-site estimates with no obligation to book. A crew member will assess your items, give you a firm price, and only proceed once you approve. We also offer instant online quotes based on the volume you describe, so you can get a reliable ballpark figure before we arrive. There is no pressure and no charge for the estimate itself.

5 Are there any items you won't take?

Junk Raider cannot haul hazardous materials due to state and federal disposal regulations. Items we are unable to accept include:

  • Paint and liquid chemicals
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Motor oil and fuel
  • Propane tanks
  • Medical and biohazard waste

Everything else is fair game — furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard debris, construction debris, electronics, clothing, tires, and general household junk are all items we regularly haul and dispose of or recycle responsibly.

Scheduling & Service

6 Do you offer same-day junk removal in Charlotte?

Yes. Junk Raider offers same-day junk removal in Charlotte and the surrounding area. If you call before noon on most weekdays, we can often dispatch a crew to your property the same day. Availability depends on current scheduling, but same-day and next-day appointments are the norm rather than the exception. Call us at (704) 594-1271 to check real-time availability.

7 How quickly can you get to my home?

In most cases, Junk Raider can arrive same-day or next-day. We serve Charlotte and a 25-mile radius that includes Lake Norman, Mooresville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Concord, Matthews, Mint Hill, and surrounding communities. Response times can vary based on demand, but fast turnaround is a core part of our service commitment. Call (704) 594-1271 and we will give you an accurate arrival window.

8 Do I have to be home for the pickup?

Not necessarily. If you can provide access to the items — such as an unlocked gate, an open garage, or an accessible outdoor area — we can often complete the pickup without you being physically present. We send a text message before our crew arrives and another text when the job is complete, so you are always kept in the loop. For interior pickups that require entry into your home, someone typically needs to be present to let us in.

9 How big is your truck?

Junk Raider operates a 20-foot box truck, which holds approximately three times the volume of a standard competitor dump truck. This significant size advantage means most jobs — including large estate cleanouts, full garage cleanouts, or multi-room furniture hauls — can be completed in a single trip. Fewer trips means lower cost, less time, and less disruption to your schedule.

10 Do you work on weekends?

Yes. Junk Raider operates Monday through Saturday, 7am to 8pm. We understand that many customers can only schedule junk removal outside of standard business hours, so our extended daily hours and Saturday availability are specifically designed to accommodate busy households, landlords, real estate professionals, and businesses alike. Give us a call anytime within those hours to book.

What We Haul

11 Do you remove furniture?

Yes — furniture removal is one of our most common services. We haul sofas, sectionals, recliners, armchairs, beds and bed frames, mattresses, box springs, dressers, nightstands, dining tables, chairs, desks, bookshelves, entertainment centers, and any other residential or commercial furniture regardless of size or weight. Our crew handles all the heavy lifting, so you do not need to move anything yourself before we arrive.

12 Do you haul appliances?

Yes. Junk Raider hauls all major household appliances, including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, and more. Our crew can disconnect appliances from water or electrical connections as needed — we recommend having utilities shut off before arrival for safety — and will haul the full unit out of your home. Appliances are recycled responsibly whenever possible rather than sent directly to the landfill.

13 Can you remove a hot tub?

Yes — hot tub removal is one of Junk Raider's specialty services. Hot tubs are heavy, bulky, and often require disassembly before they can be safely moved. Our crew disconnects the electrical connections (we recommend coordinating with a licensed electrician if the tub is hardwired), drains the remaining water, cuts the tub apart as needed for safe removal, and hauls every piece away. We handle the entire process from disconnection to disposal, so you are left with a completely clear space.

14 Do you remove construction debris?

Yes. Junk Raider removes all types of construction and demolition debris, including drywall, lumber, scrap metal, tile, concrete blocks, roofing materials, insulation (non-asbestos), flooring, windows, and general demo waste. We serve both residential homeowners doing renovation or remodeling projects and commercial contractors who need regular or one-time debris removal. Our large truck capacity means we can clear most job sites in one or two loads.

15 Can you help with a full estate cleanout?

Absolutely. Estate cleanouts are a core service for Junk Raider. Whether you are managing the estate of a loved one, clearing out a home for sale, or dealing with a tenant vacancy, we handle everything — furniture, appliances, clothing, boxes, miscellaneous items, yard items, and debris. Our 20-foot truck means most single-home estate cleanouts are completed in a single trip. We work efficiently and respectfully, and we always prioritize donation and recycling before sending anything to the landfill, giving your items the best possible second life.

Local & Area Specific

16 Do you serve Lake Norman and Mooresville?

Yes. Mooresville, Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson, Denver, and all Lake Norman communities are within Junk Raider's regular service area. We make frequent trips to these communities and can typically schedule same-day or next-day service. Lake Norman residents call us for everything from waterfront estate cleanouts to hot tub removal to full garage cleanouts. Call (704) 594-1271 to confirm availability and book your pickup.

17 Do you serve Concord and Kannapolis?

Yes. Concord and Kannapolis are within Junk Raider's service radius east of Charlotte. We regularly serve customers in both cities for residential and commercial junk removal, appliance hauling, furniture pickup, and estate cleanouts. We recommend calling to confirm availability for your specific address, as scheduling may vary based on current demand and distance.

18 Are you locally owned?

Yes. Junk Raider is a locally owned and operated business based in Charlotte, NC. We have been serving the Charlotte metro area since 2017, and we are deeply invested in the communities where our customers live and work. Unlike national franchise chains that extract revenue from local markets, every dollar you spend with Junk Raider stays in the local economy and goes toward a team of Charlotte-area residents who take pride in their work.

Trust & Credentials

19 Is Junk Raider BBB accredited?

Yes. Junk Raider holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and has been BBB accredited since December 2024. An A+ BBB rating reflects our commitment to resolving customer concerns promptly, conducting business with transparency, and maintaining high ethical standards in all our dealings. You can verify our accreditation at the BBB website.

20 How many Google reviews does Junk Raider have?

As of mid-2026, Junk Raider has earned over 1,700 five-star Google reviews with a perfect 5.0 rating. This makes us one of the highest-reviewed junk removal companies in the entire Charlotte metro area. Our reviews reflect consistent feedback about on-time arrivals, professional and courteous crews, transparent pricing with no surprises, and thorough cleanups that leave properties looking great.

21 Is Junk Raider licensed and insured?

Yes. Junk Raider is fully licensed and insured for both residential and commercial junk hauling in North Carolina. Our insurance coverage protects your property in the event of any accidental damage during the removal process. You can hire us with confidence knowing we are a legitimate, accountable business operating within all applicable state and local regulations — not an unlicensed operator working without protections for you or your property.

22 What makes Junk Raider different from competitors?

Three things set Junk Raider apart from the competition in Charlotte:

  1. Larger truck. Our 20-foot box truck holds approximately three times the volume of a standard competitor dump truck, which means most jobs are completed in a single trip — saving you time and reducing cost.
  2. Locked-in pricing. Our pricing is volume-based and confirmed before we start, so there are no surprise fees or last-minute add-ons after the job is complete.
  3. More reviews than any local competitor. Over 1,700 five-star reviews and a perfect 5.0 Google rating reflect years of consistently excellent service.

Beyond that, we prioritize donation and recycling over landfill disposal — if your items can be reused or repurposed, we make sure they are.

Eco & Recycling

23 Do you donate or recycle items?

Yes. Junk Raider is committed to responsible, eco-friendly disposal. We partner with local donation centers and recycling facilities throughout the Charlotte area. Furniture in usable condition, clothing, and working appliances are donated first so they benefit someone in the community rather than going to waste. Electronics are sent to certified recyclers for responsible handling of components that can be hazardous in landfills. Only items that genuinely cannot be donated, repurposed, or recycled are sent to the landfill as a last resort. We believe in doing the job right — for our customers, for the community, and for the environment.
